My New Travel Backpack

THIS is why I love sewing! I was dreaming up an airplane travel bag and finally found something very close at MYOG Tutorials (Prickly Gorse) which I then hacked to my PERFECT carry-on bag. ✈️

As a smaller-sized human, I wanted a bag that wasn’t too big, nor too small, it had to be *just* right. I’ve got enough room for my all-important Nintendo Switch (ACNH for life!), 13” MacBook, large noise cancelling headphones, water bottle, wallet, spare battery, a sweater and there’s room for little extras too.

Seriously this might be my most favorite thing I’ve ever made and the material choices make it look so professional. Ripstop By The Roll can just take all my money because that new Venom Stretch Mesh Eco Max is amazing. 💯

I used air mesh on the straps so they are nice and comfy!

And yes, I am in my pajamas in this photo, but I do not care 😂 as I had to get a photo of it on as soon as I was finished.

Pattern Changes:
— changed main zipper opening to top/backpack style and moved zipper to middle of gusset
— adjusted main gusset depth
— added bungee system to front main panel
— added lots of interior pockets
