A moth bag for my daughter from the Hugo Handbag pattern. I simplified the pattern and left off the pockets, piping and foam. Plenty of structure with just the Decovil heavy.
This was my first time doing appliqué on a bag – if you look closely you’ll see the stitching around the stars is far from perfect, which is why I opted to change the top wings to surface stitches and rivets. With practice I will get better! 💪
