Woohoo – popsicle quilt is finished! 🌈 🌈 🌈

The single block popsicle pattern is called Twin Pops which is free on the Moda Bake Shop website.

The front was made from Kona scraps and measures out at 60″x72″. The backing is the most luscious Ruby Star Society fabric – too cute to not include the selvedge. The drape on the Ruby Star Society fabric is just incredible. So amazingly soft for a quilt back. Binding is an orange polka-dot from my stash.

This was my first time using Quilters Dream Cotton batting (request loft) and it’s the perfect weight for a summer quilt! I won’t buy discount brands any longer.

Pieced and quilted with Aurifil 50wt thread in white on my Juki TL-2010Q machine. Quilt lines are approximately 1/2″ apart. Just look at all that texture, even before washing!

I gifted this one to my mom. 😘
