I self-drafted this sundress pattern last summer and have since made 3! It’s great for the super hot days we’ve been having. I will probably not get around to photographing all 3 given that it’s taken me a year to snap a photo of this one!

I started with a pattern (can’t even remember which one now) but had to make so many changes that I just redrafted it. Post-cancer I have no bust so I rotated all the darts out and made straps to my liking. I prefer full range of arm movement – I have broad shoulders so I normally have to make lots of armscye adjustments. The bodice is lined (burrito method) and the skirt has just a little bit of fullness – too much gathering is not really my style.

The cotton fabric was supposed to be my muslin because it was $5/yard at Michael’s but it’s surprisingly good quality and super cute.
