Since everyone else is sewing the Owen Organizer, I had to as well! What a fun and incredibly useful pattern (and free if you sign up for their email list).

This tote bin stays open due to metal frames in the top (so handy!). I used bonded nylon for the exterior and lining plus foam so it’s incredibly light and waterproof but also structured. This was a quick make and the only thing I had to buy was the frames, everything else was in my stash.

Since you can’t adhere interfacings to bonded nylon, I fused the base Decovil Heavy to the foam – worked like a charm and gives the bottom of the bag a hard surface.
This bin is perfect for keeping kid toys in the car, organizing in the home, or as a grocery tote as seen below. I gifted mine to my neighbor with a new baby. 🍼
