I sent a mug rug to a friend for her birthday – it was my first time using Quilter’s Grid and now I’ll never do it the old way! So, so much easier and faster. Thanks mom for all the tips AND the Quilter’s Grid!

All fabrics are from my stash, picked especially for this person. In addition to the Quilter’s Grid, I used regular quilt batting and spray adhesive. I bound by hand on the backside, something I rarely do as I find machine binding easier but I do prefer the finished look of hand stitching better.
